Christmas Eve 2011

I can't believe it's that time a year already. First we celebrated with Chris and Kristi's boys up at mom and dad's around noon because they were not going to be with us on Christmas, so mom got some Papa Murphy pizza's and we had lunch and a few snacks. After we all got done eating it was time for the kids to open there gifts. I think they all made out and got exactly what they wanted or needed.

Alec was Tom's buddy tonight, we got so excited when he got to open his gifts.

Abbey got a toy from Maggie, it was so cute, she loved her new toy. Maggie was going to come along but Chris said she's having "girl issues". I thought it was funny, she must be in heat. LOL

Oh and little baby H even got a couple of gifts:

 The two on the left came from Chris and Kristi and the boys and the two on the right came from Grandma and Grandpa. I can tell this little boy is going to be spoiled!

We got home around 2:00 and were all ready for the Barrett family Christmas, we had a house full. The house was all decked out and I had to take a picture of our new toilet seat cover and all it's trimmings, this came from my father-in-law. I thought I better put it out for the day, it will be coming down tomorrow.

We all got new scarfs from Sandy, they were hand made by her. I love mine! And if you can see the bows in our hair they came from Shari. Mine is yellow. We love home made gifts!

Here we are Skyping with Jeff, Boner's son in Floria. We had it connect to the new TV, it was awesome, next time I Skype it will be like this hopefully. We were in the middle of our White Elephant gift exchange so he got to watch. I ended up with a variety of perfumes from Victoria's Secret which I stole from Tom's cousin, Missy. And Tom ended up with an Armoral car wash kit. Micayla got in it as well and stole from Tom's cousin, Jeff's, girlfriend, she stole a bottle of UV Vodka and a movie and popcorn. It was funny she stole alcohol. We got a kick out of it. It's always a fun game!

After all the festivities we ended our night with the four of us opening gifts for the family. 

We had to get patches an outfit, she's not doing so well, we think she lost her hearing, but we got a few pictures of her with her new outfit. 

Tom opening his gift from Baby H. Him and I didn't exchange this year since we have lots of expenses coming up in the next few months, but I had to get him something from the baby.

The book "I Can't Wait To Meet My Daddy" doesn't he look excited??

On Wednesday, we exchanged gifts up at Tom and Linda's, they normally would stay with us all night Christmas eve night but this year we all went to church on Christmas day so they went home. So we went to there house for supper, Domino's Pizza, then we opened gifts.

Micayla got an Iowa State necklace.

 

Brandon got a braclet made by Linda, she found it on Pinterest. LOL

And here is what I got, my "mother's" plaque along with a few things to go with my new bedding, a giraffe and letters to go on a wall. I love it! I also got 2 new beads for my Pandora bracelet, a blue bead for having a boy and a dandling "little boy" with an April birthstone, hopefully he'll be born in April, but I'd be OK with March as well. 

 

I still can't wait to start decorating the baby's room and now with all these new things we are getting I'm really wanting to get started.
