24 Weeks

  Today I am 24 weeks pregnant!

Pregnancy Highlights: 

Size of Baby: Baby H now weighs just over ONE pound and measures almost a foot long, about the length or an ear of corn!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +6 since my last doctors visit putting me about +11 pounds all together. Yuck!

Baby's heartbeat at last visit: The doctor this time forgot to tell me what his heartbeat was this time but it sounded nice and strong.

Maternity Clothes: YES

Gender: We are having a BOY!

Movement: Finally I can say YES I'm feeling him move, just on the inside though, I'm waiting to feel it on the outside so Tom and the kids can feel.

Sleep: Can't complain about sleep, I think I've finally figured out how to arrange my pillows and I've been sleeping great.

What I miss: Nothing really, for some reason I can't think of what I miss. I know I can't get up and down as easy as I used to and I think that's one thing I miss.

Cravings: Still just seem to be hungry all the time. However I think I crave mashed potatoes and gravy - mom's to be exact! She made me some last night, they were so yummy! Oh and chocolate shakes.
  
Symptoms: I think the heartburn is starting to kick in, not looking forward to that but I have my Tums all ready to go.

Best Moment This Week: Getting to hear my baby's heartbeat and he was kicking the wand, at least that's what the doctor said. Mom came with me to this appointment, she was super excited and loved hearing the baby's heartbeat as well. Another great moment was The Hendricks Christmas, we had such a good time and it was great seeing everyone.

Worst Moment This Week: I had to add this today because there was a bunch of layoffs here at work this past week and one that got let go was my boss Heather, we are so sad to see her go but this is what she wanted, she wants to be home with her daughter back in NJ. We are wishing her luck.
