THE HILLEBRAND'S: California Vacation Part 2

That afternoon when we got to CA the weather was beautiful, it was HOT! But we were not complaining knowing what the weather was like back in IA, we were excited it was hot.

Leah played dress up, Grandma gave me a few surprises for the kiddos, first was Leah's new "hair" the hair lit up and she said it was "someone's" can't remember who but she loved it and she had to put on her "dress" that went with it, it was about 5x's too small but on her it was adorable. LOL

That night Luke and Steph cooked us steaks on the grill along with some potatoes and zuchinni. Steph also made Blue Cheese Crack (OMG it's to die for) for an appetizer.

The kiddo;s all got baths, and I don't even think we got a picture of them all in the tub, maybe Steph did, but it was so cute, then off to bed they went.

Well, 4:30am came around (6:30am Iowa time) guess who was up and ready to play, but that's my son with a big smile on his face. Me, not so much! He did end up coming back to bed and sleeping for a couple more hours.

The next day Leah had school and while she was at school, the rest of us went for lunch at Dad's, I think that's the name of it. Tom seen it on Diners, Drive-in's and Dives and wanted to try it, so off we went, it was delicious!

Tom got whatever burger Guy Fieri had when he was on the show, something with Blue Cheese. He said it was good.

Steph made sure Tommy got to this restaurant and it was well worth the trip.

Cooper enjoyed it too, even with Lane's bib on. He loves sitting in high chairs and here he tore up the menu, he was hungry.

After school, Leah came home and her, Tom and I went to Walgreens to get a few things and when we came back here is what we saw....both boys being fed, it was the cutest thing.

Momma forgot some bibs, so Cooper had to borrow a couple of Lane's I think he's mad at me. Cooper got squash or peas all over Lanes bibb, but isn't this the cutest bib? I love it, I just might have to find me one, with the name Cooper of course.

Thursday, I with Steph to watch Leah in gymnastics, she was the cutest one on the team.

After dance class we stopped at Steph's favorite place, Chick-fil-A! It was delicious and I can see why it's her favorite.

We have the boys another bath, then it was play time for a while.

I'm not sure what day I'm on, but I think this was Thursday morning. Cooper and Lane hanging out, they loved each other so much. Lane would take Cooper's pacifier, put it in his both then give it back it was so cute.

We pulled the walker out and Cooper loved it, again not sure what day this was.

Aren't these just 2 of the sweetest boys you've ever seen?? I sure think so.

Lane eating breakfast, he loves lucky charms, but only the marshmallows, this boy is one smart little boy, he can figure out what's good and what's not. I think this is the morning of his big day!
