It was Cooper's first plane ride, he did AWESOME! I couldn't not have asked for a better baby, he loved it, he loved looking at all the people, he's definitely a people watcher and that's something I love to do and the airports are the best place for that.
We flew out of Milwaukee, WI., about 3 hours away. Our flight was at 7:30am so we decided to drive up Monday after work and spend the night, this way we didn't have to pay for parking at the airport, we got to leave our car at the hotel and get a shuttle, it was perfect.
Cooper was pretty fussy in the car for about a good hour, it made for a long car ride, but once we got out of the car to eat at Noodles N' Company, he was fine, see the happy faces??
However, once we got back in the car, I was driving so Tom stayed in the back with him so Cooper could eat, Puffs were not enough for this growing boy, so he fed him a bottle and off to sleep he went. Once we got to Milwaukee he wanted to play, so we put him on the bed so he could stretch out his little legs. I got a few pics of him rolling around, he was having a blast on the big bed all by himself.
Almost ready to take off, he loves it in this position!
Then I had to get down and play and snuggle with him, I tried taking some pictures myself with my phone but I'm the worst at taking them. As you can see...and Cooper is wondering what the heck am I doing??
Finally Tom just took the phone and snapped a picture. Cooper's not sure what's going on. LOL
We finally settled down around 10:00 and Cooper was out, he slept great and didn't wake up until 5:30. We caught the shuttle at 6:00.
All ready for the shuttle.
Beautiful site - Lake Tahoe!
First stop was in Las Vegas, we found a Mexian restaurant to eat at, it was yummy. Cooper even got to eat some squash and puffs.
Back on the plane again, off to CA. I sure don't look happy in this picture.
We were greeted at the Sacramento airport by Luke and Leah, they tricked us and said they were on their way but when we got off the train there they were! It was great to see them and Cooper was so excited!
