Rough weekend

All I have to say is, I'm getting old!

Saturday morning I woke up to go to the big craft fair at the Grand River Center with Kristi, Mom, Grandma and Andy. Kristi picked me up about 9:30. The place was packed, it was $3 to get in the craft fair, but well worth it, there were alot of craft stands. I ended up with a couple things, a snowman lawn ornament. I will have to take a picture of it once we put it up, hopefully next weekend. The other thing I bought was a squirrel feeder, it's a wheel that you put corn on it so the squirrels stay away from our bird feeder. We hung this up yesterday but we haven't seen any squirrels on it yet. Hopefully I didn't waste my money, plus we have a HUGE bag of corn. The last thing I bought was a, this is going to be hard to explain, it looks like a potty chair, it has a 10" hole that you put a flower pot in, it will sit outside my front door come spring, but it was so cute. Again, I will have to take some pictures. It's been a crappy weekend, weather wise, it's been drizzling all weekend so it wasn't a good weekend to do any Christmas decorating outside, hopefully next weekend between my packing for my trip. I would like to get some things up before I go. That way when I get home we don't have everything to do..

So after the craft show, Kristi and I met Chris and the boys out at Jumpers to watch the Iowa game. Tom met us out there as well. Well, the beers were going down pretty good and it was just barely noon! Tom and I split some hot wings and let me tell you, they were HOT, my mouth was on fire for about an hour after eating them and I only ate 3 of them. Thanks honey. So we stayed and watched most of the game, I think, just kidding yes we watched it all, too bad they lost. So after Jumpers Tom and I went to Theisen's to get the corn for the squirrel feeder and headed home to let the dog out and take a break before heading to the moose for there 100th anniversary dinner. We headed up to mom and dad's about 4:00 and mom and dad were all ready to go, they were all decked out. Dad had a tie and his sport coat on and mom was all dressed up, they both looked so nice. We took a picture on their camera so I don't have any pics. But I think Tom did and posted a couple on facebook! I posted lots of stuff on FB last night, I think they should ban smartphones from drunk people. If you see all my post you will understand why I'm saying this. LOL

The prime rib dinner was delicious. After eating there was karaoke and of course since I've been drinking since 11:30 I was raring to sing, but I didn't, I didn't feel like making a fool out of myself, instead mom and I were up dancing. I think I should have sung..Tom took a picture and posted it on FB too. We both should be banned. Oh and I remember one of my post and Stephanie asked "where are you" or something like that and I just started cracking up I was laughing so hard. Anyway, after the moose, we headed down to Hammerhead's there was a benefit going on that I completely forgot about so it was crowded. Tom's mom and dad and aunt's and uncle's were all down there. It was just so much fun, the day was great and I was glad to be home. We called it a night, I think, about 11:00.

I was feeling it this morning, mom called me about 10:00 and I didn't want to get out of bed but I told her I would go with her out to Hallmark so she could show me this thing she wants to get Leah for Christmas, but she wants me to buy it when I'm out in CA. Of course, I bought something and again I'm going to take pictures and post it. It's a magnetic thing and you can buy different things for it. I bought it at Hallmark, but when we went to Honeker's after Hallmark, the stuff I bought at Hallmark were cheaper at Honekers'.. plus I had a coupon so I bought everything again and took the more expensive stuff back to Hallmark. They said, "weren't you just in here" yes I said and it's a long story, I was going to say something like my husband made me bring it back, but all it said was "it's a long story" LOL She said "that's all I need to know" it was quite funny, but they didn't say anything plus I saved $20! I thought it was worth it and I got a Christmas present for Micayla, I think she's going to love it.

Well Tom just left for work so that's my cue to hit the sack and watch the news. I have to get up early for Jazz tomorrow!
