Cooper's buddies!

Saturday morning, around 10am, we welcomed to our house all of Cooper's buddies. These are people we've met while I was on maternity leave. Every Tuesday, the Finley Hospital offered a breastfeeding support group and we looked forward to seeing all these babies and each other. Who would have thought we'd all stay connected and all get together and become friends. All the babies were within a couple of months in age.

From left (oldest) to right (youngest): Elliot, Oliver, David (he's sleeping) Cooper, Charles and Greenlee (the only girl) they are all so darn cute and I think this was the hardest picture we had to take. All the babies are on the move!

Elliot's trying to get away.

Greenlee and Charles are getting pretty close!

It was a perfect day. We made some sandwiches had chips and dip, a veggie tray and the others each brought a little something. It was great getting everyone together. The last time we all got together, I was out of town, so the was Cooper's first time. He had a blast sharing all of his toys, he really didn't know what to think. He's going to have lots of buddies growing up. I think this is something we'll keep doing for quite a while.

And just a few random pictures of the gang.

I loved having all these babies in the house and I can't wait to see them all again. Next time, they'll all be walking!

While mommy shops...

The boys will play!

Last week, or maybe two weeks ago, I know I'm so far behind. It's been a challenge to make time to blog, but here I am catching up. So a couple of weeks ago we were out shopping in the mall and I love to stop at BabyGap, I can usually find stuff on clearance. So while I was shopping, Tom took Cooper and off they went. The Gap has a little table in the store for kiddos like Cooper to sit at. I turn around to look for them and here they are at the table coloring, it was the sweetest site!

Tom took Cooper around the store and was trying on different hats, isn't it so cute?? I kind of wish I would have bought it.

John Deere Christmas Party

Saturday night, Tom and I got all decked out and went to the John Deere Christmas Party. We lined up a babysitter, Chris, Kristi and the boys, a while back. It wasn't hard to find one as they jumped on the opportunity when I told them about the party. So it was all planned and it worked out perfectly. Kristi called me earlier that day and asked if it'd be OK if they came to pick up Cooper early and go to her parents. Chris and a few of the boys were hunting at Kristi's parent's so it worked out perfectly. Kristi, Justin, Cole and Alec all came to get Cooper. He was excited to get to hang with them for a while.

Tom and I made a quick stop to Target before heading to The Julien. The party started at 6:00. We got there and hung out with a couple people that we know. They had heavy hor devours (not sure how to spell that) but they had lots of food. Good ole' finger food! There were a lot of people and not a lot of tables, so by the time we left, my feet were killing me. We ended up leaving around 8:30. We got a few video's from Chris and Cooper seemed to be having a blast. I sure wish I could share the video, it's so darn cute, but not sure how to do that from a text message. Since he was in such good hands we decided to head over to the casino. We walked away with $10 ahead so I'd say it was a good trip! After the casino we stopped at Hammerhead's where Johhny Trash was playing and it was free cover charge so we thought what the heck, it's early. We both said to each other, "we'd be home in our jammies" this was about 7:00 when we said that. But it was nice going out and enjoying each other. We don't do it often enough and I know we should but I'm just content with staying home especially since it's getting much colder.

The night was great. We picked up Cooper around 11:30 and he slept the whole ride home, put him to bed and he was up at 5:30 and didn't want to go back to bed, so needless to say, I was tired on Sunday.

Here is the only picture I got of the night. Oops!

Moose Lodge Children's Christmas Party

Saturday afternoon the Moose had their annual Children's Christmas Party. This is the first year I've been to it. It will be so much more fun once Cooper is older but for now, he still enjoyed it I think.

The party started around 1:00, we got there and we're greeted with a gift. Cooper received a new book called 'The Spirit of Christmas' and a stuffed Lion. We found a table and just hung out for a while. The place was pretty crowded. We found a table with another couple and their Granddaughter.

I was playing with my new phone, which has a camera where I can see what I'm taking and not have to reach my hand out to try and get a good picture. So here's a few of me and Cooper. LOL

He's not quite sure what's going on, but he's going with the flow! I love this boy oh so much!

Micayla stopped down to join us.

And of course Grandma and Grandpa joined us as well. Cooper was so happy to see them! It's been at least a week since he's seen them and I know he missed them as much as they've missed him.

Here come's Santa through the bar.

He's not too fond of Santa. We'll have one more shot at Santa at the Hendricks Christmas. I might try and take him to the mall but we've seen that Santa a couple of weeks ago just passing by and Cooper still didn't know what to think.

Cooper just have rather hung out at the bar with daddy and Grandpa playing with his lion.

ABC Learning Christmas Party

Last Thursday night, ABC Learning had a little Christmas gathering. Me, Tom, Micayla and Cooper went to check it out. I knew Santa was going to be there so we thought we'd at least go see Him.

We walked in and we were welcomed by lots of people. One of the girls that is in Cooper's room had on a fun headband and Cooper just loved it so she let him wear it for a little while.
Cooper loves all his teachers.

Micayla having fun with Cooper and his headband.

The lady in the background is Angie, she's the one there bright and early in the morning's greeting Cooper and I. We love her!

The first room we stopped at was The Birthday Cake room. Here we celebrated Jesus' birthday. Like the hats? Cooper even had a few bites of chocolate cake and of course, loved it!

The next room they were playing Christmas music and there were lots of noise makers. We got to play along to the music.

Daddy was being silly!

Next stop...Santa Clause! We snapped a quick picture of Cooper with Santa's Elf. She was the door keeper. Santa was in the room and she would let in a few at a time.

Cooper didn't really know what to think of Santa. And I don't think Santa really knew what to think of Cooper, it was funny because I don't think Santa was ready to hold a baby. LOL

It was fun night. The other rooms had finger painting, where they made ornaments and the kids got to paint an ornament and they could make foot prints as well on a paper plate. And the other room had story time, we didn't stay for those two rooms, maybe next year.  We had a blast and loved seeing everyone.

Girls Night Out!

Friday night at Jazzercise we had a Girls Night Out, it was so much fun. Jazzercise put together a specialty class and every instructor at our center came together to put on a spectacular class. 50 jazzers signed up and every one of them showed but one! It was a packed house. We all learned 2 songs so it wasn't that bad. We all dressed up in our best Burlesque wear. I sure wish I would have gotten some more pics but here is what we got.

The stage is set, it's a little blurry but you get the drift. We had a spot light up on stage because most of the lights were out and we had a couple stobe lights and a disco ball. It was perfect! Plus, if we messed up no one would know.

We got some pictures beforehand of all of us dressed up.
Heather was all dressed up, we didn't even recognize her. She has really long, curly hair under this wig.

Julie next to her gift tree. She made this up and we drew names after class and the winner got to chose a gift off the tree.

Here are all the instructors. I don't think ALL the instructors have been together for a specialty class forever. It made it that much more fun.

From the left - back row - Linda, Julie, Judi and Kim
Middle row - Me, Lisa, Shelly (one of the owners) and Anita
Laying down - Heather (the other owner)

We blocked out all the windows so no one could see in and when it was time to let them in we opened the doors, they entered thru the back room, so they weren't waiting outside. Everyone was so anxious to see what was going on.

I'm getting my groove on to "Go Bang" it was such a fun song. Can you see the fog in the background? We had a fog machine! So fun!!!

Kim, Anita and Lisa working it!

Dr. Eckhart, she was my doctor when I went into the hospital after my water broke. She put me on the pitocin. She's such a riot!

These two crack me up. They are nurses up at the OB/GYN office. The one on the right was my NST nurse, Jeanne. She's a sweetie.

And mom and Jill. They had a blast as well.

After class, we had margarita's and snacks. Everyone enjoyed it. It was so much fun and we can't wait for the next "team" event.
