Special Halloween Treats

We were blessed with some very special treats over the Halloween week and I'm so excited to share them!

First up, a special art project from Cooper. Looks at those adorable feet. It's kind of Christmasy but it was for Halloween.

Cooper received a letter in the mail a couple of weeks ago about a book exchange from a friend who was in our Breastfeeding group while we were on maternity leave. It was like a chain letter but it was for books. I had to send one book then send out six letters to Cooper's friends and so on and so on. Well, Cooper received his first book last week! It was a Lullaby book and he loved it. We love reading at night before bedtime. This book also came with a CD so you can listen to the music while you read/sing the lullaby. We are still waiting on other books, if the chain gets broken our little ones will be without a book.

Last week, I traveled for work to Ohio, it was a one day training. I left Wednesday afternoon and came home Thursday night. I had several packages waiting for me when I got home and one very special one that I found quite interesting because I had no idea what it was. It was a beautiful pink box that said Cupcakes. I was like OMG what is this and when did it arrive, since I was gone... So I asked Tom, who was in bed, and he said it just came today. It had my name on it and he thought  it was just something else I ordered. He loves it when I order things..NOT!!
So I immediately opened it and found a dozen cupcakes and a note from Leah and Lane. They were from Georgetown Cupcakes and let me tell you...THEY WERE THE BEST CUPCAKES I'VE EVER HAD!! The white with the orange frosting were to die for!
Thanks Leah and Lane

And this little gift came a couple of weeks ago for Cooper. It's a Halloween toy, Cooper loves it and still is playing with it. It's makes all kinds of crazy sounds and kids laughing and saying 'trick-or-treat', 'thank you'. It's so darn cute, thanks to The Hendricks's again, Cooper is one spoiled little boy!
