Today I am 20 weeks pregnant!
Pregnancy Highlights:
Size of Baby: Baby H now weighs 101/2 ounces and measures 6 1/2 inches long, about the size of a banana.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +5 since my last doctors visit.
Baby's heartbeat at last visit: 146 BPM
Maternity Clothes:
Most of the time, they are so much more comfortable and my t-shirts are
starting to get tight, so I may have to start wearing Tom's.
Gender: The technician yesterday at our 20 week U/S was 99% sure the sex of the baby. She put this in an envelop and now my brother and sister-in-law have it. We will all find out on the 26th of November! I can't wait!
Movement:
I'm still not sure on this one, sometimes I will feel a twinge or
something and not think anything of it, then I'm like "oh wait, that
could've been the baby" but then I don't feel it again for a while. I'm
sure the movements are coming. The doc said I should start to feel something real soon.
Sleep:
Still sleeping great however I used to always start on my stomach but that's getting harder to do, it's just not comfortable now so I'm forcing myself to sleep on my left side, that's supposedly the best side to sleep on, but I like my right side better, so either way once I get to sleep I'm sleeping pretty good.
What I miss:
Still beer! And the other day I bent over to cut my toe nails and wow, I
could definitely tell my belly is growing and I don't think its going
to get any easier.
Cravings:
No real cravings, again I'm still feeling hungry all the time and can't
seem to eat as much as I'd like which is probably a good thing, but I
just can't figure out what I'm hungry for.
Symptoms: Nope, just a growing belly.
Here are a few pictures of Baby H!
Here the legs are crossed at the ankles. I love this picture because I'm always sitting or laying like this.
Here the baby's arms are up near his face, this is the way Tom sleeps all the time. So cute!
It's so amazing how they can see something so small. I'm so excited for this little baby and I can't wait to meet him or her or to just find out the sex, then I can start planning
