Three Months Old

I don't know where the time goes...it seems like forever since I've blogged and I seem to have so much to blog about lately, so I first have to start with Cooper, he's the center of attention lately and he's just loving it.

On July 18th, Cooper turned 4 months!

A few things I want to remember about your 4th month of life are:
  • You are still wearing size 1 diapers. I think I may have purchased my last package though, you are starting to fill them out so we'll have to move you up to size 2.
  • You have totally out grew your 0 to 3 clothes, and are just about bursting out of the 3 to 6 months! I think I have maybe another month out of those.
  • As of the 19th of July you weighed 14 pounds 7.5 ounces and you were 25 1/2 inches long!
  • You are still exclusively breastfed! This is going great and you LOVE to eat and when you are done you look up at me with a big ole smile that just melts my heart.
  • You are still sleeping in our room. I keep thinking about putting you in your crib in your room, I know you'll do great but it makes me sad thinking about it, so for now I'm keeping you with me.
  • You sleep all night long! (I hope I don't jinx it by saying that) but you are a great sleeper.
  • Bed time is still around 8 to 8:30.
  • You are starting to enjoy bath time a little more each time. I'm finally getting more smiles out of you. You get a bath about every other day.
  • You have found your toes! I love it, you will play on the floor for hours and just grab your toes and roll side to side. Soon you'll be rolling. Lord help me! LOL
  • You had your first "vacation" you traveled will mommy and Grandma the week before your 4 month birthday. You did awesome. You like to be in the car but anything over 4 hours and you were getting crabby. Heck I get crabby too.

  • You love to grab things and finally figured out how..your hands are always moving even when you're tired. When you stop moving your hands is when I know you've fallen asleep.
  • You smile every time someone looks at you and talks to you. I've finally started to hear that giggle that I just love to hear. I will tickle you under your chin, around your collar bone, and you just burst out laughing.

  • Daddy loves you to death and he sure missed you while you were gone with Mommy.
  • You love your changing table, this is one place where we can go to get some giggles out of you. You love it when mommy sings to you. We like "you are my sunshine" you always smile and try to sing along.
  • You also love your playmat, you love kicking the piano and playing with all the toys around it. You're starting to squirm so much that you do a complete 360 turn. Soon you'll be rolling!
  • The bumbo...you're not to sure of this yet. Once you can sit up on your own I think you'll love it.
Cooper I can't say enough how much joy you bring into my life. I love you so much and I can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us. I'm sure lots and lots!

One year ago....

Today marks the one year anniversary of Cooper's conceive date. Normally people are not 100% sure when there child was conceived but we do! The reason is we went through Invitro. I can't thank God enough for giving us this special gift.

Cooper as a blastocyst:

Cooper at 8 weeks!

Cooper still loves to sit like this, especially when I'm feeding him, his little legs will be crossed.
This is at our 20 week appointment.

And his arms are always up by his face, especially when he's sleeping or cuddling on you.

And Cooper when he was born!

Cooper is sure a miracle and I thank God everyday for him. He truly has brought joy into our lives and I can't think of moment without him.

People ask if we're going to have another, I would love to have one but I don't know if I want to put my body through it all again. We would if we had a few frozen embryo's but we don't. So we'll wait and see, if it happens it happens. It was a lot of work, remember all the meds?

Just looking at all this makes my butt flinch! LOL But if it comes down to it and we really want another I would do it! I just hear so many stories of heartache and since I didn't really have any since Cooper came on our first shot, I'm afraid of disappointment and if for some reason it didn't take I would be so disappointed. But again, that's life, so we'll see.

And just a few pics of Cooper! These are his 3 month pictures!

Cooper's bedroom - complete!

I can now finally call Cooper's room complete! Thanks to my sister-in-laws. Stephanie had the idea and Kristi helped put it all together. Cooper sure appreciates it!

Before pictures:

 And now the updated room.

I absolutely love how everything turned out! Thanks you so much Steph and Kristi. Cooper thanks you too!

Welcome home Hendricks's

I don't know where to begin to blog, the last 2 weeks have flown by and I don't think I can remember everything we have done. So I am going to just go off the pictures I have on my phone and on our camera.

My brother and his family came in from California over the 4th of July week, it was so great to see everyone and it was my first time meeting my nephew Lane and also them meeting Cooper. It was so fun to get to hang out with everyone. We all took the whole week off so we got to spend everyday with them. It was all so worth it!

Me and Lane - our first time meeting!

Lane and Cooper meeting each other for the first time.

Grandpa and Cooper

Lane was all full of smiles!

Lane and Tommy were such good buddies. Tom rode with dad to pick them up from the airport and Tom had lots of fun entertaining Leah and Lane.

Leah showing us her pretty jammies and of course trying on Grammies shoes. She had all of Grammies shoes out!

Grandma, Leah and Cooper

Monday, our husbands surprised us with a "girls spa day" it was fantastic. We enjoyed a 50 minute massage and a 60 minute facial. It was awesome! After we went for lunch at Vinny Vannuchi's.

Later on that afternoon after lunch Kristi and Stephanie came out to my house to help with a project that Stephanie wanted to do. Well so did I but she was one with the idea. All I can say is we finally have wall hangings in Coopers room! More of that to come later.

While we were hard at work, working on the project, the kids played. They all had a ball. I'm not sure where Cooper is at this time. LOL

Tuesday afternoon, we took Cooper to Chris and Kristi's and Tom and I went off to get a pedicure. The picture below is not me getting my toenails but Tom's. Yes he got both his big toes painted for the 4th of July. LOL

Cooper borrowed Lane his play gym. It worked out great, Cooper is still to small for it anyways and it was perfect for Lane.

These pictures are taken on the 3rd of July, we were up at mom and dad's for a steak fry, it was hot! Notice the no clothes and wet wash cloths. We were keeping the babies cool!

The 4th of July, Chris and Kristi hosted an open house party for the holiday. She went all out, everything was great and very festive.

Oh boy, I forgot about this! So I was feeding Cooper and he was, well pooping, and he just didn't stop. He doesn't normally poop while he's eating but he must've had to go and he went and went. Next thing I know it's all over me and my WHITE shorts! I called my mom up to take Cooper after I got done changing him and I went home to change. I don't think my white shorts will ever be the same.

Cooper is nice and hot, look at his little "man boobs" as Tom calls it.

And of course no picnic would be the same without beanbags. My partner was my Aunt Noreen, we made it to the semi-finals but ended up losing. We had fun though!

The next day, Thursday, we went to my cousin, Erica's, house. She invited us all out for hamburgers and hotdogs for the kids. She had a big waterslide set up in their backyard and we all hung out there for awhile. We also were out there Friday as well.

I had to borrow one of Lane's swim diapers, they are actually Leah's because they are pink and have Dora all over it. So we took a picture of the boys in pink diapers. Can you see Cooper is not too happy about it??

Thursday night, again was girls night, me, Erica, Stephanie and Kristi all went to the movies. We went to see Magic Mike. It was a 10:00 showing and we had so much fun. The movie was nothing to talk about but the men in the movie were yummy! What was the movie about? I don't think any of us can answer that, no plot whatsoever but it was fun to watch!

Leah was asking me all week to go to my dance class, Jazzercise, so I decided on Friday to take her to the 4:30 class, it was a 30 minute class which was perfect and she had a blast. She kept right up with Linda the instructor. It was so much fun having her next to me in class. I can't wait until next time!

Water break!

Linda and Leah. Linda loved having her in class as well!

Leah talking to Cooper, she sure loves her cousin and he loves her!

Grandpa and Laney bug!

Lane giving Cooper kisses!

Leah watering Grandma's flowers. She helped her every morning with her flowers on her deck.

I almost forgot about these. Monday night after our project was complete we ordered Happy Joe's pizza and after that we decided to give the kids a bath so everyone was ready for bed. They are all so cute in the bathroom.

Leah wanted to join us as well. She's such a clown!

Lane was looking at her like she was crazy!

And last but not least, Friday night the 6 of us all went out for dinner we chose The Three Mile house, it was so good! We hit up a couple of bars and one of them had a photo booth so I gathered everyone together and we got our picture taken.

It was great everyone being together, we don't do it enough but when we're all together we sure try and make the most of it. We had a blast. Jake, Matt and Cole helped Grandma and Grandpa watch the babies.

Until the next time we're all together...
